As the darkness closes in
My skin crawls as I think about my sin
I dont want to be wise
I run to block out the cries
My body hurts it bleeds 24 hours a day
Its true everybody will eventually pay
You cant run from what you have done
I will tell you hell isnt any fun
Ive been there too many times
Constantly paying for my crimes
Soon I will be set free into the light
So you had better stay away from my sight

| this is a big issue for me. i always feel so guilty for all my sins and the guilt is overwhelming, i think this poem is really good, it speaks to me. thanks for letting me know i am not paranoid and crazy |
