All i want is a cake
"Your 5 pence short, sorry"
is it that important for all its sake
Maybe i should scrat for the rest
or approach the cashier with a knife
because we all know this 5p
will save the companies life
Or maybe the extra 5p is special
enchanted by a ghost
and if i were not to pay
it could take my body as a host
They might send this 5p to charity
and put it to good use
which is all well and good
or what if this is an excuse?
Maybe i am wrong
they may send this 5p away
but what of the other 1.15
suppose thats there to stay
I guess i will put the cake back
Yes sir, you may of won
but wait till i come back
with my 5p and my gun!

| humourous write. doesn't it just annoy you? I always used to say keep the change if it was a penny or two but now i wont bother after having a similar experience. |
