Controversia

We wage wars for freedom, we kill eachother to stay alive, we hate those who hate what we love, we search for things that don't exist.
We ruin perfect lives, we give to take, we make to break down, we live to die alone
In silence we sing to ourselves, for the sake of sanity we leave behind reality, for the sake of greed we exploit and still the seasons change.
Humanity is controversy to itself.

This is a nice poem, in my humble opinion. Very insightful, good juxtaposition, real issues. Although the lack of a period in the second stanza is a little confusing... |

Aye, this is the truth. I've had similar thoughts, once scribbled down "as if every man against another, could be called a Universe". The word 'universe' literally means everything turning, or flowing, or moving, as one. Too bad we humans are not part of the universe.
Good work. Thoughtful and well written. Keep it up.
