OH HARSH AND CRUEL SEASON WHOSE CONSTANT FRIEND IS THE BRUTAL WIND,
WITH A FAMILIAR HOWLING THAT MOCKS
ALL WITHOUT AND THREATENS THOSE WITHIN.
MANY ARMIES HAVE BEEN REDUCED TO PITY THEIR RANKS DEPLETED BY COLD
FORCE, FOR NO MERE MORTAL CAN
WITHSTAND YOUR UNFORGIVING NATURE.
THE OCCASIONAL MILD DAY SERVES ONLY
TO MASK THE TRUE INTENT, BUT THE WISE TAKE HEED AND PREPARE FOR YOU
EVEN ON NIGHTS WHEN YOU ARE STILL.
COUNTLESS VESSELS ARE LOST IN YOUR
WINTERY GALE, THE FAITH OF THE INHABITANTS YET UNKNOWN BUT STILL YOU HAVE YOUR ADMIRERS WINTER OH
WINTER SO BOLD.
