Every time Im with you
you fill me with a light I cant describe
that stays with me as a gentle glow inside
it never goes away
it only grows brighter when I see your face
it chases away all the bad
all the things that make me afraid

No one has ever made me shine like you
no ones ever made me feel the way I do
youre the rock that I can lean on
youre the only one I run to
the one that I could not imagine life without

So I hope you dont mind, I hope you dont mind
that I put down in words
how wonderful life is now youre in the world
and how I want to have you always by my side
to brave the world and whatever it may bring
with you and the love that has grown

So quickly have we learned how much we care
I never thought it would come so easy
the way that you just fit with me
but with you it feels so right
like things were meant to be in some strange way
that we were supposed to live each day together,
happily ever after
