To what will not be

anguished
|
I wish the night a broken failure trembling in the sun;
A thousand midnights facing the carcass of a new day.
I wish a violent testimony pressing the water,
Pressing the sky; a sufferer, desirer, swift pursuer,
Reaching the moonlights descended hour, reaching with regard
This descended hour, to cradle in her arms a still child,
And retch with bravery her own demanding love to what is,
To what will not be.

Nice job...Some really good imagery in this write! The only thing I maybe would've done different would be to not use "Pressing" twice...Other than that, an enjoyable read...
