Lifepoems

I behold my life drifting like smoke through an open window, Passing into the air and carried upon the currents of all time, And I sit, Helplessly staring as my seconds burn, Memories to ashes, From a cigarette lit.
Forever cruising on an uncharted course, Purple fumes rush to join the sky from the embers of a solitary existence, Weaving their way towards a greater freedom, Diminishing into space and torn to shreads by the wind.
And still I sit as a prisoner, Waiting for my time to come, Every drag marking a wrong move, Each breath of toxic gas exhaled leaves the sweet scent of bad Karma.
A good intention yet a bad habbit is this life of mine, One day I shall be extinguished, My cancerous remains commited to the ashtray of the earth, And my soul shall become smoke.
