The Brave Knight

The soldier stands and softly sighs
He knows he is prepared to die
A man so kind, so brave , so strong
Ready to fight for old and young
He waits and listen's to the sound
Of war, the bloody battleground
The cries of anguish hit the air
It's all he can do to stand and stare
Suddenly, his courage fades
As he watches flashing blades
Then suddenly he hears a voice
A sound that makes his heart rejoice
"Have no fear, young knight today
You will fight and they will pay
We're here to help you brave young knight
Here to help you win the fight"
Oh, what a wondrous sight to see
The Camelot king and his army
Arthur,Lancelot,a thousand strong
Ready to fight the evil throng
Now all is quiet, the battle done
The evil fled, the victory won
The soldier kneels without a fuss
arise Sir Knight, you're one of us

| Ros this is a beauty. Takes me back to my days as a young boy. King Arthur and his knights of the round table were my heroes.Robin Hood was another favourite of mine as well. Keep then coming I love them keep smiling from bernard. |

Wow... that was astonishing to me. The rhymes were a little rough at times, but you did so well at putting me there in the battle with the soldier. I felt everything he felt. Very nice job. I cannot wait to hear more...
