''dancing with time on your side''

Contributed by english-pea-pelter on Tuesday, 28th June 2005 @ 06:44:53 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Step lightly
And caress her
Take her in your arms
And watch that smile play across her face
Look deep into her eyes
Tell her what you want to say
Let that confession escape your lips
So the whole world will know just how you feel about her
Watch the blurs pass by
The blurs remind you of a butterflys wings
That tickles your stomach when you look at her
Those round eyes that remind you of an innocent does
Keep her close, so you wont lose her
Dont let that love escape
Keep it as long as you can
But you have to let that butterfly go soon
You know it
You have to watch it fly away, and twist through the air
So that it disappears into the clouds
But cherish it as long as you can
And miss her
So she knows that you care
But step lightly
So the road wont get too rough

dear friend of mine,
it's nice to see you've been writing again. Well just like always, you outshine everyone here. I love all your poems, but I believe the one's like these affect me the most. You know a good writer when the words your are reading make your insides feel different just from speaking the words aloud. Keep up what you do so well.
Noel(that rhymes :D)
