Entagelments of Trees and Nymphs

Contributed by StoneAngel on Wednesday, 29th June 2005 @ 02:17:07 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Tall and limber
Curved trunks
limbs bending and flowing
in the night air

you can hear the voices
of the tree nymphs sing
calling out to innocience

Growing from earth
wind and mud
crawling through the earth
to reach the sun

nymphs laughing
and playing
around their trees
each intwine
in life and death
depending on one another

both laugh and play
all day long
if you listen close enough
you can hear the
voices of the trees and nymphs
playing and singing
all day long

But if ever you come
around the groove
with ill intentions
then you better watch out
because forever will you be
trapped in another universe

So good people of the earth
listen well and hard
for one day you too
might hear the laughter
of the nymphs and trees

You have a wonderful way of bringing the mythological to life.
