Ive found love once
But was it real
Was it true
I dont think so
I might have at one point
But I was blind from the start
My friends were right
Not one of them liked him
And they all told me
That he wasnt right for me
But I was just longing so
For someone to love
For someone to say they love me
In the way I need to be loved
He was the one to tell me
In the way I wanted to hear it
But it was all a lie
One big fat lie
Because all he wanted
Was exactly what my friends warned me about
A booty call
But then I met you
The one who brightened up my day
The day the other guy told me to
Never talk to him again
I was upset
And just talking to you
Made just a world of difference
At that moment
All my worries
All my sorrows
And all my pain
Just melted away
Like ice sitting in the sun
On a warm, clear sky day
Everything you said
In everyway you put it
Just put a smile on my face
And you didnt even know it
I thought I loved once
But was this one real
I dont know
We havent given it that big of a chance yet
Ive forgotten about the guy
The guy my friends warned me about
And now I am onto a new one
Who seems truer
And more faithful
And has never let me down
Ive known him forever
As has he
You can call me a *****, a ****, or whatever you want
But that doesnt change the facts
The facts of how he treats me with respect
As the other treated me like his dog
All I long right now
Is for you to be in my arms
And for your lips to touch mine
And have no worries in mind
I wouldve done it yesterday
But theres a few things standing in our way
One is your girlfriends
Two is my parents
Three is my siblings
All who youve known for like, ever
And they dont like it
All because youre a little older than me
But if I am not with you
Then I am not truly happy
Not truly
Because I have a true smile on my face when I am with you
But anyone else, its a fake smile
Trying not to cry
Because when I am not with you
All I want is to be with you
And love you
And have you to hold for ever and always
But I have finally figured out
That I am
Destined to be alone
Until I am with you

Really easy to relate to... I know the guy, the one that the friends warn you about... they always turn out wrong...
Good start, a little choppy in my opinion, but it's your write, so wtf does my opinion have to do with it? Keep writing :D
