One day she will finally see
that there was something better
and she'll no longer need to cry
her heart will see and be free
it will no longer shatter
and he'll no longer lie

Confronted in utter emptiness
void of anything resembling love
they each have a lesson to learn
erased by an unknown tenderness
a true love and peace from above
as the body no longer feels the burn

What happens when two lovers
see each other with someone new
a true hearted lover who will not fail
each ripped of saftey covers
seeing the one he hurt in love so true
a sad tale that only time can tell...
