Falling fast
But feeling as if I can fly
The world seems to get brighter
A new love
That seems different from before
Passion
Behind every touch
Kindness
With every word
That twinkle
Shining in your eyes
The powerful hope
That this one is for keeps
Laughter
That warms my bruised heart
This growing emotion
Is such a soothing remedy
Healing the scares left behind
Failed attempts
Have eaten away at me soul
But with your refreshing approach
That hollow pain
Begins to wash away
The fear I cannot ignore
Will this fall apart?
Like many have before
But the curious desire
Urges me to try anyway
The need to put my all into this
Is something
That I cannot resist
So with optimistic hope
I move forward
Maybe this one will last.
