A boy's Plea

Contributed by Mild_Tempest on Thursday, 30th June 2005 @ 04:05:59 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Can I conquer this fear?
Those things that appear.
Let me fight, let me flee,
I have one single plea.

Fly into the world above,
See the pale colors of a dove.
Then see my struggles,
And hatred singing carols.

Sink to the world below,
Cry when the heat will blow.
Forget me and my existence,
And together our distance.

Float up to the heavens,
Where no death happens.
Then look into my soul,
Know that I had no control.

Turn loose all your tears,
Look back all those years.
Am I there in you eyes?
Or is it just full of lies.

Burn like a sun inside,
Feel the cold that was cried.
Let lose your last guide,
Brush everything aside.

Bow down to your death,
Let go of that last breath.
Know that I've been there,
And I am no longer here.

This is a great poem Mild_Tempest I feel this way too and wrote a song about it. I called it a love to endure through the passage of time.

"All I see in me is the differance
all those things I do not want to be
Can I really endure until the end of the road
so that I can face eternity?"

It is always good to soul search about our lives. Looking in the mirror helps us to acieve our true reflection.

This was a very inspiring piece and I am glad to have a new friend on the site.

Sounds like a suicide, or someone losing their fear of death, wonderfully expressed poem...
