what do you do when
your fears sneak up on you
and begin to distort your reality
knowing it wouldn't last for long
feeling yourself slip away from them
yet they did their all for you
Just to keep a frown upon your face
and when what you crave for with all your heart
will never quite suffice no matter how hard it tries
no not even Prague is far enough for you to venture
the dreams that haunt you whilst you sleep tell no lies
only the lust your heart places on your mind
tricking it and you with the stealth of a fox
beautiful but possessed and intent on destroying your soul
no longer can you hide behind what once protected you
your grace and will to be controlled under pressure
the demands the world place on you pull and tear
so fair are the lies your wicked heart tells
though through it all love is still all it desires.

Love the last line. You have a nice, natural style. It doesn't feel contrived, I appreciate that greatly. I saw your post on the forum and thought i'd check it out. Glad I did. Will read more.
