It happened one day so suddenly
I didn't except it would happen to me
Things were fine, we were having a good time
Then all of a sudden it's gone and left behind
His love faded and his words were cruel
He made me feel like such a fool
He's persuaded by others, listens to their thoughts
He's completely changed, my stomach is in knots
I can't believe this has happened to us
It didn't have to be such a huge fuss
He's a different person and doesn't care for me
I'm scared for what will happen to our family
We will argue and fight, ultimately ruin our son's life
I can't deal with all the pain and strife
He no longer loves me he's made pretty clear
I'm a horrible girlfriend and mother is all I hear
I have nowhere to turn I feel trapped in pain
I'm trying so hard just to stay sane
None of this matters, the end is near
I will try not to shed any more tears
I don't understand why he's acting like this
He acts like there nothing about me he will miss
I do not like the way things are
I feel like he is just too far
I don't know what I can possibly do
To make our love blossom like new
I hate the hurtful words that were said
It made my heart feel like it was dead
I want the pain to go away
I want to go back to the old days
I want us to love and not fight
I want things to be right
Hopefully it will get better soon
Our hearts will reconnect and we will swoon.

Great emotionally charged write...You should be proud of this piece! I enjoyed everything...The wording, format, expression...I could especially relate to the sixth stanza, and this...:
"His love faded and his words were cruel, he made me feel like such a fool..."

things get bad indeed i must say
but storm clears on sunny day
look for the good in all that you hear
dont shutter or cave when captin is near
wonderful write. very understandable.

| I am so sorry to hear this. It happens in the best of families. Do not let him tear you down emotionally. Hopefully is it just a dark cloud passing over. In case though, I would start preparing in case he leaves so you and your child will have a plan to go by and not get stuck out in the street with nothing. Keep writing as it helps relieve tension and may help you get through this and stay strong. Blessings to you. Rita |
