Why should God bless America?
A land built on a great idea has been bastardized. No longer are we the nation our forefathers fought for and dreamed of. We are a nation that lets its own starve on the streets. While some live in fancy houses and eat at the best restaurants. We have no respect for life. Whether it is our own unborn children or the creatures of this earth all is taken in the name of free choice or just for monetary gain. Our children are taught daily that their bodies are for pleasure only. But not taught that real pleasure comes from finding that one special partner and building a life together.
Why should God Bless America?
We have watched and let God be removed from our schools in the name of a few who dont believe. What happened to all those who do believe? They sat quietly back and let this happen. It did not matter that the majority believed in God. God was also removed from most of the public viewing. As to not offend a few the rest had their rights smothered.
Why should God bless America?
We let the media decide what our children should eat, play with and how they should act. We cant get enough of celebrities that defy all the rules and show nothing but contempt for morals. Giving our children the idea that this is the lifestyle to fashion themselves after.
Why should God bless America?
BECAUSE WE NEED HIM MORE NOW THAN EVER IN OUR HISTORY!

| Enjoyed reading this. It sums up all that is wrong with the country, that i live in, britain(dont class myself as british though, class myself as Welsh). Minorities get preference, the law favours the guilty and good people are being trampled on by the wealthy and famous. And while people are dying on our streets all we can do is hold concerts for other countries. |

BRAVO!BRAVO!~BRAVO! I stand in awe!!!
Shari this is just so truthful.....let it ring throughout the land. I just returned from my 50th reunion. I was appalled. I saw friends in their 70's sleeping with each other's wives. flaunting their activity infront of us all! Just think these people are Senior Citizens from the generation that used to have morals!!! Like their teeth they are decayed and all fallen out. Replaced with false ones that fit any occassion. This essay says it all.
I give you a standing ovation, and another, and another. The nation sleeps, another time in history this happens. A Giant was awakened. What will it take this time, another 911 of worse?

| Please that sums up the human race entirely. You people still think your different from the rest of us? That that kind of thing hasnt happened to the rest of this stuffed up world and why should there be "God" in schools anyway? Its already the dominant religion, it doesnt need anymore advertising. America isnt the only country going down the sink, so to speak, we are all doomed. Unless enough of us band together for change...So who's it gonna be? |

| Thank you. I so enjoyed reading this. The majority of my feelings are here in your work. I was raised with God and respect and to love others, I tried to raise my children the same way and I think I succeeded. We have to have the grandchildren in private religious schools for them to get an education other than sex and crime and drug and alcohol abuse. Thank you for saying what I wanted to say but just could not put into words. God bless you. Rita |
