I say the words
i love you
i know that its true
that i do love you
but just not in the way you had hoped
i stand here
holding you in my arms
because i do
care for you
just in that same way that others do
so i stand here confused
thinking to myself
what should i do
am i such a fool as to
lead her on and make something of this later
NO
but yet i still find myself standing here
still holding you in my arms
keeping you out of harms way
wanting you to stay
here, with me
do i find myself bound to this woman
because i made that promise
that bond
to be yours and hope that you'd be mine
i must feel something....something
something is there that makes me want to be here
and so i find myself still standing here
holding you in my arms
because i know...
that i do
truely
love you
