Topic: abstract

she invited me over the two of us alone
she asked me to dance we were so close
she told me she loves me and would have been mine

she sits and stares
eyes sparkling as they use to
she wants to make love
i curl up inside and die

in love again this time
for reasons unknown
shes married and in love but playing me the fool

i set her in bed and kiss her goodnight
and crawl to the couch
shes crying and is hurt
