i've stood here before. i've looked here before. i see the familiar fear of loneliness and disease the familiar face of ecstasy and greed. take my comfort and rape it with your touch, if i give it to you, you won't take too much. the infectious air fondles the familiar whores mingling in the street. the smoke and the speed, this unfavorable scene- a feeling some of us need. meet me after hours, we'll share drugs and conversation body and blood soaked with alcohol, i'll let you see my desperation.

Geez Priss, this is pretty raw and gritty, but a good poem - confronting, yet sensitive and hearfelt at the same time.

Priss- in my mind I have thought about thing s like this and for you to actually write and talk about it, just proves how versatile you are with writing and being able to transform your emotions into a work of art.
Peace, love, and bubblegum!!! |
