how do I know if it's true love this time
and not just the same old line
not just another game being played
or just being told more lies
how do I know it will last
and it's not just an 'in the moment' fling
not just another girl on the side
'cause feelings come and feelings go
how do I know I want this
and not just pretending I do
not just finding another excuse to
if I didn't want this would I still be scared
how do I know he wants this
and not just telling me he does
not just acting like he does
if he didn't would he tell me
