Admitting

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

If there was a way to SCREAM in your face without you knowing,
Id do it.
If there was a way to KICK in your ribs without you feeling,
Id do it.
If there was a way to CURSE your name without you crying,
Id do it.

Because whenever you say youre not angry
I know youre screaming.
Whenever you say there isnt a pain
I know youre hurting.
Whenever you say youre not sad
I know youre crying.
And the thought of that,
It makes me scream,
And it makes me hurt,
And it makes me cry,
Because I hate the fact,
That Im hurting:
Because of you.
Because youre hurting.
Because you refuse to admit it.

Why?

The question angers me.
My eyes darken and my teeth grit,
My head swells and my mouth shrinks.
And I hate
Do you hear me?
I hate you like I hate myself.
Deep down we both know it.
Its my fault, as usual,
But youll forgive me,
As usual,
For the pain that inflames my heart.
For the pain that you cause.
Its your fault.

Admit it.

Oh, wow. That was really touching. I really like the beginning lines. This is a great poem with a lot of feeling. Great job!
