Penning a blank

Contributed by shelby on Wednesday, 21st January 2009 @ 05:49:22 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Seeking a calm, within the soul.
Mind stilled, no intention no will.
Just the soft muse of calm,
where does it come, when does it come?
A vision of the first winters snow,
the stillness and the world is still.
Hoping to bring that moment in,
thus that moment captured with pen.

Penning a blank, a poets lament.
A desert barren and worn.
Lacking of style or meter or rhyme,
look what the mind jumble has become.
Corrupted, infected and burying such softness,
no fluff and softness just raw jagged edges.

Penning a blank, a moment of winter
where everything is null and void,
a prisoner to thoughts that are stuck.
A hole in the land of the cold and the dark.
Penning a blank once more.

Good to see you writing. The above is just magnificient writing. I see you moving and developing along both the same and different lines.
Great to ease-drop.

Hmmm... doesn't appear that you have penned a blank but then again, you could have fooled me. ;-)

I like what you have done here and where it seems to be coming from. I have been mentally penning a blank for the past few months now. You have peered into many of our minds...where the words get stuck and have expressed that feeling so well.

Very nicely done.

Take care,

Tim

shell you could pen a blank

and it still would hold some

significance in it's artistry,

this is a lovely piece that

enchants the silent place

the heart speaks from, an

enjoyment to read as always . . .

((((Michelle))))

Thank you for your read,

deeply appreciated . . .
