Our Memories are A Disease to Me.

Contributed by amber_vonhorror on Friday, 23rd January 2009 @ 07:51:13 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

This kiss is like a razorblade slit
This strawberry runs down my throat. It burns like poison.
Almost like vodka, yet more tasteful.
I knew there would be blood. That stake through my heart
Makes me crave
This last dance.
Drugs can't help us anymore.
My chest is bleeding enough to fill up the lakes
That run through the back valleys.
It's tasteless when our love is no more.
It's hollow.
I guess this is goodbye.
You promised me a dance 'til the moon burns away.
You promised me I could stare at you one last time
My own eye cocaine, I need to put my cravings to sleep.

You made my heart beat.
Now my tongue stings when I'm denied from your lips.
Our memories are just a disease to me.
A disease no drugs, no one,
Nothing can eradicate.
Nothing will ever get rid of.
Except you. And your love.

ohh darling...
i can relate to this so much that it hurts.

i love your imagery here, the way you pour out the entirety of your heart and soul.

so painful... and sadly, i know just how you feel.

i adore you. and you're writing.
