Paper Dreams.

Contributed by bleedthelove on Friday, 1st May 2009 @ 09:46:03 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Through the sadness I float
The only feelings exposed
Lay inside the poems I wrote
Each individual note
A paper dream
A silent scream
Black ink tears
Love, sadness,
Anger and fears
Scriptures of emotion
Distrust and devotion
Positives and negatives
A bleeding heart
That gives and gives
Songs with no sound
A beat so profound
It can be felt through the chest
Silently confessed
Artistically blessed
To be able to make the world understand
The destruction inside of me
With only the pen in my hand
Each written verse
Allows the emotions to disperse
Spread across the page
Representing the passion of release
Like a thousand refugees from a cage
Singing my pain like a sweet refrain
And when my heartache is expressed
It shouts from the paper
Like an angry protest
Written outside the lines
Poetic designs
Emotions that have lost control
And the ink bleeds through the paper
Like the love bleeds through my soul
Confessions of a lonely poet...
These are my paper dreams.

writes about writing have got to be my favorite - it's full of meaning to any writer. it's a passion, and passionate writings are by far the most magical. every writer sees what they do differently. every writer sees paper and ink differently...

this flows beautifully! the rhyme isn't consistent, but still methodical and musical.

iloveit.

Your paper dreams are very enjoyable to read.
