Did you see it,
In those simple words?
Shining with all it's
Worthless glory
I knew it
Your love was no match to mine
There was no comparison there
I saw that fleck of dark
It shined so bright
It out-shined the light
Perhaps I am looking too deep
And it's all just a figment
If one looks
One will find
I try and force it down
But I can't calm a storm in my mind
I can't control these thoughts
They just come
I am irresponsible to let them run
Like a train into words
They are words that you shouldn't ever
Come across
Because what if I find what I am looking for?
