Difference

Topic: selfstruggles

There is a part of me
That feels I am different from everyone else.
Something I can't quiet see,
Something that I can't quiet feel,
Something so unreal.
But this THING is always there,
This THING with others I will never share.
So I push it to the back of my mind ,
All the thoughts of boys,clothes,
And make-up it is hidden behind.
It comes back with such ferocity,
Angry and unforgiving.
I feel so lost and sad.
Whatever caused this feeling,
Must had been so horrid and bad.
A lost memory or something else.
I'll never know,
Whatever it is,
I know for sure,
I can never let this feeling show.

This is a very interesting piece. It makes me wonder, how exactly, you feel that you are different from most people.

Whatever caused this feeling,
Must had been so horrid and bad.
A lost memory or something else.
I'll never know,

This is very well said. I hope that nothing traumatic has happened to you that has changed your life. I hope that what makes you different, is that you are a unique original person. If that is true, you should be happy because you aren't a mindless drone, like most people who cannot think, and that would explain why it's hard to connect with others. But what is rewarding about this aspect is that you will attract people, like yourself, who are individuals, and you can have more meaningful relationships with these people than you could with the mindless drones. Either way, nice job.

Be True,
zenmind
