Different conversations float around me. I went to the fair with David last night. Hey Kyle, Did you see Underworld yet? No, why would I want to? Did you guys finally kiss? A never ending stream that drives me insane. Be quiet and get out your things. The conversations eventually die. One or two still proceed, but they eventually crumble as well. As class begins, my mind lets out a sigh of relief. Silence (for a few moments at least)

I like poetry that is about just a single moment. When you wrote this, you brought your attention to the present moment you were experiencing and wrote a poem about what you noticed. It is a reminder that every moment is poem waiting to be written. I also like it because it reminds us that we don't have to be feeling sad or angry to write a poem. Writing is about coming back to yourself in the present moment, and that's what you have done with this poem. I like it. Good job.

You can find poetic inspiration in the funniest things. lol. Silence is golden, there needs to be more of it in the world. I like this, brought back memories of high school. *shudders* I remember writing poems in class when I was supposed to be paying attention, too... don't think I ever got caught though... don't remember, I've blocked out most of those 5 years.
