I miss your voice, I miss your hand
I dont expect you to understand
A wonderful gift to sit and write
pen and paper my company at night
with sheets of paper my pen wont lie
all by myself my ink runs dry
i gaze out the window then back to my pad
i want to write about all that we had
i try so hard to start fresh, start a new
then everyword written goes back to you
back to the start re-living the end
of how i lost my one true friend
to me my angel sent from above
nothing counts without your love
without your presence im not real
without your love its lonely i feel
my surroundings now without you
my life my existence too
you made me promises the words you said
and "I cant adjust" heart says to head
so lonely i cant accept how everythings changed
my heart still hurting our lives re -arranged
all i did was run away from you
probably now, the worst thing to do..?

Woah this is so beautifully written, and with so much inner strength and passion, of lost love, you bring this poem alive with the flow and rythem of your words, awesome write i am glad I was able to stop by and read, thanking for sharing a memory so close to your heart.
