Nouvel Amour.

Topic: LoveRemembered

Lost in satin sheets,
The images of that dream still linger...
My mind, rupturing with thoughts of you...
Your scent still mingles with mine upon the pillows...
I squeeze myself tightly,
Hoping to satisfy my yearning for your sweet embrace...
My longing isn't quenched,
I only shed more tears...
I remember so vividly,
Those days when we were so in love...
Nothing could tears us apart...
These moments of utter bliss, endless pleasure,
Your bittersweet kisses adorning my flesh...
Those times are now nevermore, but still remembered...
Still desired for, still waiting for...
Waiting for what?
A lost lover that will never return to me?
I must drive it out of my head,
My hopes of his return...
Why do I still love him so,
When he stole my heart, and tore it apart?
I know not the reasons,
My feelings towards him have not died yet...
They still live, despite the anguish he caused...
4 glorious months,
Of life alongside him...
Loving, cherishing, such a beautiful relationship...
We stopped communicating,
The love was dead...
The cycle begins all over again...
Fall in love, proclaim it, then the heart is torn once more...
I'm lying here, broken...
My glass heart is shattered one more time,
When it was just pieced back together...
We believe we will never heal,
That we'll forever be destroyed,
Crippled and feeble, without a helping hand...
The cycle is eternal,
Ending, then starting once more...
We will be hurt, battered down till you think there's nothing left,
To make you go on living...
But, that certain someone enters your life,
Beautiful, mysterious, ever so loving...
They pick you up, piece you back together,
And stand by your side...
After so long,
So much time being alone and afraid,
He comes along...
Both of us walking on the same shore of Loneliness,
Needing affection, needing a love...
Perfect soulmates?
Maybe...
I like to think so...

Let it last forever...

When you least expect it ... it shall find you
When you can fall no farther ... it shall lift you up
When darkness shouds all that you see ... it shall light your way
When black have all your days become ... it shall colorize you world

It shall be ... love, it will be ... eternal

Love is always like that. It seems cruel how it is possible to be in love with someone so much, and to have those feelings overwhelm you, but then to have your heart torn apart. How can something so beutiful hurt so much? And the cycle continues, but we always return to the fact love is worth getting your heart broken for, because love is the reason we are alive. And I think that is what you expressed in this poem. The willingness to go through all of the pain, for that one person. It's a beautiful tragic fairy tale, so bitter sweet.

Be True,
zenmind
