The Dark Lady...

"The Dark Lady."
By: Anonymous

Elegant in her ebony gowns,
The Dark Lady dances within my mind...
Where shadows creep, there she dwells,
Waiting for her next victim of passion...
I linger near, her willing prey,
Yearning for just one touch...

I know not her name,
I know nothing about this obscure seductress...
Except her words,
Piercing my heart,
Poetry of the most beautiful essence...

I could go on about her fair and angelic beauty,
But then I would be lying...
You see, for she is neither fair nor angelic...
The Dark Lady is like a black rose,
Morbid, deliciously beautiful, most delicate of all flowers...
How long have I desired her?
That bittersweet mystery that can only be a dream?

If this is a dream,
Then let me die in slumber...
Let the precious moon kill the jealous sun,
And may Night spread His ebony blood across the skies once more...
For only in darkness,
Does the Dark Lady dance her enticing danse macabre...

Friends can become more,
And lovers are eternal...
Sweet Dark Lady,
I believe you have stolen my heart,
With just one smile and a simple 'Hello'...

*Secret crush letters are kinda scary to me, but I thought this one was....sweet... in it's stalker-ish type of way. ;) But I loved the words. Maybe Mr. Anonymous is closer than I think...a school aquiantance perhaps? We shall see...*

Yeah a bit scary and of course a little dangerous, but then so is love, isn't it? I've never had the experience, but always wished I had. Lucky you! (Well hopefully, depending on how you feel about the person.)

Very cool. Blessings and Good luck!

As scary as secret crush letters are, you have to admit, that this guy really tried to win you over with this one. He is a good poet, and he put a lot of thought in describing the image of you as the "Dark Lady"----an image that I would imagine fits you----and comparing that with the "black rose" was very creative. I hope this whole thing goes well for you, and it doesn't end up disastrous. lol These situations are always cute and sweet.

Be True,
zenmind

Another has been woven into your web of beautiful words. And he writes well, as well. Scary ? Yes perhaps. But I would disagree with his assesment of your fairness and angelic qualities. Anyway ... that is just me ... I hope ... should he be revealed ... he is everything you deserve ... and more ... to be happy.
