The Chance That Was Forgotten

Contributed by cooley1818 on Tuesday, 26th July 2005 @ 05:04:45 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

If i told you i love you
would you let loose my hand
or would you see the changes
that you knew i had planed
would you wake up each second
crying at night
chasing the demons
with all the angels might
would you capture the star
that i would have shine for you
or would your heart grow pale
because your love wasn't true
if the second i died
was the last secon you lived
then that second you'd see
the love i had to give
i can never furthure away
from everything that counts
if ever you fell away
the pain would quickly amount
the thunder can rumble
and the lighting can light
but the light you shine
will keep you in sight
the tides would stop
the waves would fall
hell would freeze over
and the angels will call
but nothing i say
would help change your mind
the love you lost
will never be defined
the story will end
the chapter will fold
but the love for you
will never grow old
