i was staring at the sun
for too long...and to no song
deafened by the silence dying
for too long...and to no song
_______________________
leave me, so i can't be seen
like the hills beneath the green
ever wonder what's inside?
i would, if love would let confide...
_______________________
i was tending to her soul
for too long...and to no song
i let her keep me like a prize
for too long...and to no song
______________________
I hate myself for letting love
come to me a dying dove
yes, i'll help you wounded wing
if for me, you just might sing
______________________
I was crying on the sea
for too long...and to no song
i let the waves crash into me
for too long...and to no song
______________________
i miss the sun and everyone
sinking...sinking... blue paint
blue paint and water, milky tears
sinking...
for too long...and to no song.

Exquisite.
Nice rhythm and sweetly sorrowful words. |
