Our Final Goodbye

Contributed by cooley1818 on Wednesday, 28th December 2005 @ 06:15:38 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Promise me one thing
That you will not cry
As tomorrow fades to darkness
As I say my final goodbye

Cherish these memories
That you and I have shared
Always remember these dieing words
And never forget just how much I cared

I wish things could be different
But im afraid they cannot
I trusted u with my life
But I see that u gave up

I cannot handle
This heart to break again
The pain was just too real
Its something I couldn't relive

So see these as the last words
That will ever come from me
But keep them in your heart
And just one-day maybe u will see

See just how much pain
And how much pressure, it is just to bare
See how many times your heart can break
And where it begins to tare

Its just, things aint getting easier
Theyre only getting worse
I have to let go
I have to end this verse

So when ever you are feeling lonely
When ever you get scared
Just look up to the stars
And once again our hearts will pair

So don't take this hard
Just please remember this line
There always has to be an ending
To everyones final goodbye......

I like the thoughts behind this and the content, however a bit of work needed to smooth out the flow in some of the lines.
Keep up the emotional aspect of your writing, it shines through well!
