My Loneliness

Contributed by Poetic_Soul_of_Iowa on Sunday, 22nd January 2006 @ 05:35:32 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Loneliness is eating away at my soul
It has an apatite that a weak soul like mine can not fill
It’s only a matter of time till this thing which I call a soul
Is consumed

The loneliness that grows inside of me
Can never be killed
No matter how much it’s poked or prodded
The shear mass of it will always remain
And just when it seems to be gone
It rears it ugly head once again

My mere soul can not take much more of this
It is almost spent
I feel as if there is no killing this loneliness
This loneliness that is consuming me from the inside

I too hate being alone. Need my family with me all the time. I can't handle empty space. Remember you are not alone...someone is always here to listen. Lots of us here have been where you're at. Keep posting. We're listening. Peace to you, Laura
