Looking for love on the rooftops

Contributed by MidnightPunkCat on Sunday, 20th August 2006 @ 09:55:14 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

sunrises, she wondered if he was okay with questions doing ballet in her mind spinning gracefully and never making a mistake
Day by day she would go about normally trying to fake it all and make sure everyone was okay but no one knew her secret pain praying and hoping her love was okay
day by day she would climb as high as she could go on what ever she could climb trees, fences, walls, roofs.. she would gaze out upon the city sky lights and wonder what will a new day bring and she thought of bringing her love up to the roof and watch people just pass by were they would be safe in eachother's eyes in their little world like
day by day she wondered how time past so fast away.. then sunsets and day by day she allowed the sun to rise and hit her face and then when it set she would stand outside staring at the midnight sky and wondered if he missed her and loved her like she loves him and she heard is sweet voice and he was able to make her gaze at him for hours in shock and happily she raced towards him and day by day he swore more and more i love you so much.. on the roof tops they looked for their love and when they know they were thinking of eachother the roof tops remained full of dreams

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
