A FRIEND AND LOVER
FRIENDS COULD BE LOVERS
AS WELL AS JUST A FRIEND
WHEN TRUE LOVE IS THERE
YOUR FRIENDSHIP, WOULD NEVER END
HOW DO YOU KNOW
WHEN FRIENDSHIP, TURNS INTO LOVE
JUST WANTING TO BE WITH YOUR LOVER
IS SOMETHING YOU HAVE ALWAYS, DREAMED OF
YOU NEVER WANT TO BE APART
YOU WANT TO SHARE, EACH NIGHT AND DAY
AS WELL AS HEARING, THOSE MAGICAL WORDS
TO EACH OTHER, THAT YOU SAY
I LOVE YOU MY DARLING
IS WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR
HOLDING ONE ANOTHER CLOSELY
AND WHISPERING IN THEIR EAR
YOUR LOOKS OF LOVE
ARE MAGIC, TO EACH OF YOU
MAKING EACH MOMENT TOGETHER
SOMETHING YOU ALWAYS, WANT TO DO
SO STAY CLOSE FRIENDS, FOREVER
WHETHER, OUT OR UNDER THE COVERS
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS, FOR THE TWO OF YOU
TRUE FRIENDS, AND TRULY FANTASTIC LOVERS

| I have a few friends who I am close too, and we are not lovers. But we have a friendship for life, of that I am certain. Would a romantic interest spoil it, maybe, but I don't ever want to spoil what we have. Loved the poem very much. Thanks for sharing. Sue x |
