Do You Know What It's Like?

Contributed by nothingness on Saturday, 2nd June 2007 @ 12:15:34 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Do you know what its like?
To watch you walk away
The fade into the distance
And have nothing at all to say

To have so many feelings
Locked up deep inside
But when I finally see you
To me my voice is denied

How I wish I could tell you
How much I love you so
Hold you closely to me
And beg you not to go

Tell you why I hurt so much
And why I cry every night
To have you hold me close
And never leave your sight

All the words I want to scream
Seem to choke me as I breathe
Trying frantically to find you
And beg you not to leave

I though that no matter what
Love was suppose to win
Nothing could hold back love
It concurs through thick and thin

Do you know what its like?
To watch our love slip away
To watch it fade to nothing
Forever belonging to yesterday
