The tie that binds

Contributed by Oceandreamer on Saturday, 1st March 2008 @ 04:36:52 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I found you,
my soul mate…
greatest love of mine.

There was no turning back,
our hearts skipped a beat.
The moment we met,
we knew, we where in deep…

You where everything I’ve searched for,
everything I needed…
You brought meaning to my life,
a magical beauty …
life, love and everything in between.

A whole new world…
City lights, star cluttered skies,
oceans of love and sea gulls passing by.
The deepest love,
so much feeling inside…
We gave life to it all,
with the air we breathe.

The tie that binds…
Deepest love, a thought, a breath, a moment in time...
Our hearts beat as one,
our souls entwine.
Lets get lost in this love,
it lives inside…

Quite the emotional piece you've written here. The theme of love is expressed in a way that truly conveys its nature, and the honesty that exudes from your poem can make anyone envious of such feelings. Beautiful work.
