the last easy game of our lives play this one with all your heart leave your inhibitions behind what have you got left?
turn the radio back, those winter blue tunes are all wrong - playing the wrong harmony that's not what this is about.
let's play all those childish games nothing is safe in the past tonight sundown won't mean a thing we've got these bright lights in our eyes
hope that forever can last in these months the flames confirm our desires impossible doesn't exist anymore we can burn away all those wasted nights
what doesn't come rushing back isn't worth remembering we'll live forever in the blended night-day i'm going to miss this, if nothing else
even when the sun rises again the smoke is still in the air fire keeps burning these things never die

A well written piece with some great metaphors, such as:
'sundown won't mean a thing
we've got these bright lights in our eyes'
'hope that forever can last in these months
the flames confirm our desires
impossible doesn't exist anymore
we can burn away all those wasted nights'
Good work.
