THE HARDEST PAIN TO FEEL

Contributed by NancyWoods on Friday, 19th June 2009 @ 07:02:33 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

You cry out in pain.
Your child has been taken.
You trust people who are spouse to love you.
Never did you think that they could hurt you.
You asked for help in your time of need.
They go behind your back and take your first born.
You were told to trust them.
And all they did was use you
to get what they wanted but never could have on their own.
They went and stole your baby.
You are told to let go and not cry.
But the tears are getting harder to fight.
There is a empty feeling in your soul.
Your child was taken from you.
You do not understand how your own family could ever
cause you such pain.
You question how could this happen.
When all you asked for was help.
Now five years have come to pass
and you have missed so much.
How do you keep on going?
When your life feels so incomplete.
There is a void that can not be filled.

I agree that losing a child is the worst pain in the world and people who haven't gone through it never understand . I hope very much that you have not gone through it . Very emotional poem and well written.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
