A Stranger in the Mirror of Your Eyes

Contributed by lesoleilnoire on Wednesday, 23rd September 2009 @ 08:39:10 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

In the mirror of your eyes, it was me, only me;
the reflection is now a stranger to see.
Your brown bedazzling eyes once warmed my heart;
now their gaze pierces my love with hates' dart.

In the mirror of your eyes, it was me, only me;
now clouds in you eyes disguise all honesty.
The silhouettes in your eyes are not mine;
your eyes have dimmed their once loving shine.

In the mirror of your eyes, it was me, only me;
now I am unwanted company.
Cluttered confusion camouflages the brown;
if I was now in your eye's mirror, I would drown.
