It's just one that is visible to me That colour that has taken all my glee Hungry are my eyes for a vibrant palette And I shall be happy when I get A chance to meet the coloured lot. My life has moved on by the touch of a tot My world is as Ganymede, a cup waiting to be filled But the filler God has remained hesitant To grant the devoid of its required fulfilment
But still life has to move on And I wait for a new life to be born And I shall be happy when I get A chance to meet the coloured lot.

I can relate, in a way. Where I live is dry and dusty and I'm impatient to move to see spring and green and flowers! Yours was a different sort of poem... Good work. Blessings, SF |
