She and I go back a ways;
We both were puppies in our day
My friend who still remembered when;
So we could share those times again!
Amazed at all the things we dared;
When we were too young to be scared.
Without you here to talk with me;
I may forget some memories;
But not the one who made them true;
I promise......... Ill remember you.

A beautiful pledge as well as a beautiful tribute. This
is what I consider a true friend also. Over time we
may forget some memories but as you said..all it takes
is thinking about them to help you remember things
that you thought you had forgotten.

I think you speak to yourself. I see not a drop of sadness in this poem. I see happiness and memories. A shade of melancholy perhaps, but who doesn/'/t have that?

aye, don/'/t know
just where I am going,
but I am going to try,
just what I feel,
but I just don/'/t know
I, have made a decision,
I am gonna try to
nullify my life
And well, I might guess

I just wish that, just wish
that, you remember me
