Coalescence

Contributed by Vitreous_Soul on Monday, 8th March 2004 @ 03:02:36 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

As distant stars in the vastness of space
Solitary points of light
Each bearing scars, a lamentable trace
A glimmer of hope burns bright
Flickers afar hide within carapace
Cry to escape and take flight
Prismatic bars ignite fadeless embrace
A glister so lily-white

Cosmic dream paired, many light years apart
United by desire
A beacon glared between flashes dispart
Two halves not yet entire
Connection flared across diamond star chart
Brighter than the sun's fire
Sacred bond shared, a celestial start
To heaven love will spire

Speckled light throng, cumulus lambency
All as faces in a crowd
Trillion strong, yet two reach apogee
Perennial faith endowed
Effulgent song, enduring melody
Together two sparks burn proud
Whirling along in pirouette softly
A dance no force could becloud

Inferno born in the flash of a spark
Combine melodiously
Forever sworn in a joining so stark
Hearts immure are now set free
Teardrops adorn the past in sable dark
Now shines ardour lucently
In light of morn, to paradise embark
Fused as one eternally

Thus the twin stars, against fathomless space
Even through solitude's storm
Swift love afar, searing in two-fold grace
Brightest of lights they did form

Dan, that is amazing. It's so breathtaking and just... wow. I cannt believe I inspired this... but Dan I'm so proud of you! To write something as amazing as this and amazing as all your other art, you are a true poet!

You are so articulate Dan. I just love the way you are able to express yourself through your poetry! It's just amazing.

I'm lost for words.
Dan, I love you

A show stopper ;o).........penned by a true artists hand. You just keep writing my friend, your words will be read by future lovers for many years to come.

To say i am in awe would only be a lie, because this has left me in a space only you could create dan, you have broken all boundaries with this unimaginably creative and full heart extrodinary write, a perfection of scribed words has been left upon this page and will mark the heart of each and every one of us for years to come, a lovers senerade would only compare to this if you wrote it dan, i humbly take my pen and paper and throw it out of the window and swear never to write again, because this piece has just destroyed anything i have written a million time over, you have left me staring into something i could never touch my friend.. amazing

Luke

Eloquent and remarkable!
Incidentally, I see you have over 70 works currently posted! Congratulations on being eminently more prolific than I ever could.

a little bird told me this would be a special poem and i had to come see, im glad i did, its breathtakingly written, love your use of the english language, well done but i would have said,"Hearts immure(d) are now set free" am giving you a fiver, it is otherwise flawless, one of the most beautiful poems i have read in a while, your talent shines, keep writing, hugs n' love nessa

Are you expecting me to believe that THIS is one of your 'piddly works'?
I sincerely hope not, because that would be both an insult to my intelligence, and to your profound poetic ability.
Once again, the sheen of your work demands that I attempt to write something of equal, if not greater beauty. Thankyou.
