Life is pain

Topic: selfstruggles

Life is pain
I know this well
Life is pain
Yet far from Hell

I live my life in horror and loathing
I live my life in pain and fear
I live my life, yes that is what I do
I live my life, my life for you

I ran from pain from being alone
And now that I'm back
My pain is home

I ran to you for comfort and joy
I ran to you for love and peace
I ran to you and you accepted me
I ran to you, I run from you

This is truth, life is pain
Life is cruel
Life is vain

This is truth, you are love
You are peace
You are Lord

This to God I say I'm sorry
I wish I knew
The ending to my story

I ran, I run, I fear your presence
Yet in your Son you gave a present
To be with you no matter my problems
To be with you we are no longer victims

I struggle in life
This I do
I stuggle in life
I stuggle for you
