Under the knife

Contributed by neglected1 on Tuesday, 23rd March 2004 @ 06:43:13 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

Unconsciousness turns towards fatal being
The rewards of living yet pass by as quickly as the
Hand flies by

Staggering legs filled with nauseous feelings
Counting back from ten-nine-eight-sevvenn-si..
Relaxing to the white glare eventually fades away
Hoping to prevail this mind

Day by day living in this much pain
Soon waking up to the three-two-one
Revealing worries and un-excitement
Hearing nothing but an annoying beeping
And retina has not stated its purpose

Feeling absolutely worthless
Gazing at the hurtful ending
Keen that this pain would subside me in the unknown space

Watching tears roll down my face
In some what commemoration from when i was young.. Oh how great it would be to be young again
But then there would still be bruises and scraped knees

What's so great about the living body
Overwhelmed with hurtful situations and stubborn
Aspect towards things you cant conquer
Living by the rules that have no answers

This is the real world
Real life
Real situations
Painful but true
But soon my body will heal

Waiting to see the hand fly by faster than i have ever seen before
And eventually letting the sounds 1-10 come out
