My Illegible Letter

Contributed by Diatribe on Saturday, 1st May 2004 @ 01:54:22 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I wrote you a letter
Originally a crimson color
But it turned black as it dried
Then for some reason I died
But it’s alright
I’ve been brought back to life
I guess I should think twice
About my source of ink next time
I’ve been picking up the scattered belongings
You’ve left behind from your scurry
I think I’ll put them in a box
My forget you nots’
Something to look at when I’m drunk
And beat myself up over day after day
Until I find someone to replace
Do you think it’ll be that easy?
I sure do hope so…
I once described you as my Juliet
But now you’re just the poison
And it’s too bad you’re not dead
It’s amazing how much I miss you
Do you think we can be friends?

This one touched my heart.

So much emotion and heart in this one.

From the title, past the opening and to the ending this was a joy to read.

You have alot of talent.

Kie
