This man has My brown hair My blue eyes My light skin "I'm really going to see him?" "Yes, yes you are," My mother murmured All I could do was Move my lifeless hands And fold my clothes Into the shivering suitcase My bracelets sang a song of their own I was starting to sweat It was time to leave My mother grabbed the keys that jingle janggled I crawled into the sleeping car And clutched the seat beneath me I didn't hear my mother wake it from its rest Until I saw the image in my window shift The sky started weeping Its tears blurring the world around me The car went silent I spotted a man He was strolling back and forth As if waiting for someone Our eyes met And then I understood This was the man with My brown hair My blue eyes My light skin

This paints a very emotional picture. Was it your father you went to see?
I like the poetic references, like the bracelet.
Nice work. Keep it up!
