wise old woman
of younder field
i need to borrow
your cloudy shield.
i need it soon
its almost to late
they are coming for me
through younder gate.
i'll give it back soon
without a scratch or dent
for if you let me borrow it
they won't find my trail or sent.
just like last time
i wait and i wait
i ask again
for it's almost to late.
then at last
she nodds her head
i disappear
they think i'm dead.
